THE NEW YEAR

Hello Foliers,

The new Year has been celebrated aboard at Docklands with a very close up view of the Fireworks and fortunately no fallout. Photos of the event were kindly taken by Halina but there is a missing computer to camera cord so still no photos. New years resolution is to get the crew photo and replace last years before the end of the season.

Congratulations to Under Cap (Mandy's husband Paul crewed) for their 3rd place in the M2H Eastcoaster. They are actually FIRST in the AMS series so far and 2nd in the IRC! Congratulations to Ingenue and our Jen for a 4th PHS in the series and 5th in the M2H. Mel leaves today to crew Magazan back to Melbourne and promises to send her lat and long so we can plot a Mel Tracker.


So what does 2009 hold. Get out your diaries.
JANUARY
Wed 14th Jan Twilights start
Sat 17th Both of us are away no sailing
18th Jan Cruise with Cruising group to RYCV every one welcome
Wed 21st Twilight
Sat 24th -Monday 26th down to Geelong and back. I've entered us in the cruising with spinnaker series. Everybody is welcome ....well just do the big squeeze as its only 2 nights. Great chance to get the kite u and running before the WISC
Jan 31st Rescheduled Ingenue trophy passage race
FEBRUARY
In Feb all twilights are a go. WISC is SUn 7th
INstead of the Sat 14th race we will do the Latitude overnighter which is overnight from Friday ?time to Sat in the bay. This is great for navigation and night sailing.
Other Saturdays are a go.
MARCH
ALERT From the horses mouth. The Cruise is now 7th to 21st MARCH. We can take up to 8 and another option is to join us in the Tamar . Need to know who wants to sail as we'll hire another life raft to cover.

APRIL
WISC sun 9th
Easter Fri 9th-Monday 13th Suggest we tackle the Port Fairy race
